>Audition Workshop
Open to aspiring performers aged 14-19, TARGET ran a workshop on audition technique in February, 2010. The workshop comprised singing and drama masterclasses, movement workshops, improvisation, trust and teambuilding exercises.
Participants were put through their paces to develop their ability to answer interview questions. Guidance was offered to participants on choosing audition pieces to make the maximum impact. We aim to arm participants with all the tools to successfully navigate the minefield of professional auditions.
>Friendship is Fab!

TARGET was also pleased to support the following external projects:
>Youth Music Theatre: UK - Music Theatre for All project in South Wales, July 2011
>Newport Chartist Musical The aim of the Edutainment project was to develop a new piece of music theatre (for future use in schools) through workshops with young people in particular and the community at large, culminating in a production on the main stage of the Riverfront Theatre in November 2010, thus providing a platform for local talent and a cultural brand for Newport, proud of its historical heritage as a centre of the Chartist movement.
>Earthfall Earthfall offers a variety of workshop opportunities for groups aged 15+years, ranging from: lectures, full and half day workshops, residencies and audience development deals. Their workshops cater for students from dance, drama, music, physical education and performing arts backgrounds, tailoring each session within Earthfalls skills base to meet the specific needs of the group. Each workshop provides a unique, challenging and exciting experience; an opportunity for self expression and creative development for all involved.
>Virtual Choir World-renowned composer Eric Whitacre went for a world record as he assembled the world's biggest online choir. Participants were asked to video themselves singing one of the 8 choral parts and send it to the project organisers. Parts from all over the world were then combined to create an incredible virtual choir!
